Sending a new message to Gmail when a new screenshot is uploaded to Dribbble

How the integration works:

  • A new screenshot is uploaded to Dribbble
  • Zapier composes and sends a new email to a selected Gmail address.

  1. Creating a Zap. On the Dashboard tab, select “Dribbble” and “Gmail” and click “Make a Zap”

Configuring the trigger event

  1. Selecting the trigger event. A trigger event is a certain action in the trigger app that tells Zapier to activate the Zap. Select the “New Shot” option in the dropdown menu and click “Continue”. This way, the trigger will only activate when a new screenshot is uploaded to Dribbble.

  1. Select your Dribbble account and click “Continue”

  1. Click on the “Test Trigger” button.

  1. The system should then find the shot and display all the information available. If everything is correct, click on “Continue”

Setting up the action on Gmail

  1. Select the action to execute in the next dialogue box when a new shot is uploaded. In our case, select “Send Email” in the dropdown menu and click “Continue”

  1. Select your Gmail account and click “Continue”

  1. Next, you need to set up the connection between Dribbble and Gmail. Fill in all of the required fields in which the data should be imported and click “Continue”

  1. Then, you need to test the connection between Dribbble and Gmail. If everything is done correctly, you should be able to receive an email on Gmail.

  1. Click on “Publish Zap”

After that, the Zap is set up, configured, and active.
