Adding new Shopify users when a new row in the spreadsheet is created
How the integration works:
- A new row is created on the specified spreadsheet on Sheets
- Zapier creates a user on Shopify
- On the “Home” tab, click on “Create”.
- In the dropdown menu, select “Zaps”.
Setting up the trigger event
- Trigger event is the event that occurs in the target app and informs Zapier to start the Zap.
- Select the trigger event app.
- Select “New Spreadsheet Row” in the dropdown menu and click “Continue”. This way, the trigger will only activate when a new spreadsheet row is created.
- Select your Google account and click “Continue”.
- Fill out the required fields and click on “Continue”.
- Test the trigger by clicking on the corresponding button.
- The system should display all the information if everything is correct. Click on “Continue with selected record”.
Setting up the action in Shopify
- Select the target app.
- Select “Create Customer” as an action to do when a file is created or updated.
- Select your Shopify account and click “Continue”.
- Fill out the required fields and click “Continue“.
- Test the connection between Google Sheets and Shopify.
- Click “Publish”.
After that, the Zap is now created, set up, and working.
