How to integrate Google Sheets – Monday bundle using Zapier?

Easily transfer data from Google Sheets to Monday.com with Zapier automation. Follow our quick guide to streamline task management and improve workflow efficiency.


How the integration works:

  • A new row is created in the specified table in Google Sheets;
  • Zapier creates a new task on Monday.com.

For this guide, we’ve created a sample table on Sheets.

To automate data transferring between Google Sheets and Monday.com using Zapier, follow this simple, step-by-step guide:

  1. Accounts: Make sure you have accounts on all the services covered in this guide (Google, Zapier & Monday) before proceeding. If you don’t have an account on one or more of them, make one before continuing.
  2. Setting up Zapier:
    1. Login to your Zapier account and click on “Make a Zap”.

b. Select Google Sheets as Trigger app.

c. Select a  “New Spreadsheet Row” or “Updated Spreadsheet Row” trigger, depending on what you need.

d. In the ”Spreadsheet” field, select the table we’ve created in the beginning of this guide.

e. In the ”Worksheet” field, specify on which sheet should the Zap be triggered.

f. Then test the trigger by clicking on the corresponding button

  1. Setting up the action:

For this guide, the following table was created:

Select Monday.com as an Action app.

Select the action that’s needed to be performed, like “Create Item” or “Update Item”, depending on what you want to do with the data exactly..

Connect your Monday.com account to Zapier.

  1. Setting up field mapping:

Fiil out the fields on Monday.com using the data from Google Sheets, that you received from the trigger.

Select what data from Google Sheets would be transferred to Monday.com.

  1. Testing and activating the trigger:

Test the trigger to make sure you’ve set everything up correctly, so the transfer between Google Sheets and Monday.com would be possible.

After a successful test, click on “Turn on Zap” to activate it.
